Larnaca

The island’s third largest town is a thriving resort with a wide variety of things to do and see. It has the convenience of its own airport so you can begin your holiday straight away. It lays claim to being the oldest “living” city in Cyprus and has a continuous history going back more than 6,000 years.

Cultural and historical highlights include a Municipal Gallery and Cultural Centre, as well as six museums. An artist colony in the old part of Larnaca is also flourishing. Landmarks include St Lazarus Church, Salt Lake, the Hala Sultan Tekke, the Marina and the Fort. Flight training and sightseeing tours of the Larnaca area from the air can be organised as can diving and sea cruises.
